If you haven’t got an existing EPC you can get one by appointing a Domestic Energy Assessor (approx £80). You can search a list of certified assessors at this link:

Retrofit Assessors

To commission a Whole Home Retrofit Plan, you need a retrofit assessor. You can search an accredited list here: www.trustmark.org.uk/homeowner

Typical costs with the discount are:
                3-4 bed House: £510.00
                1-2 bed Flat: £382.50

This is a £90 reduction for a 3-4 bed home and £67.50 off for a 1-2 bed home.


The RetrofitWorks Whole Home Plan service includes:
A Home Survey – a Retrofit Assessment- measurements and discussion with client
An Energy Model – using the data collected during the visit, showing the ‘base case’ of where the home’s energy performance is right now and a list of suitable improvements and how they impact the energy performance of the home.
A Whole House Plan (WHP) –lists the improvements and provides some details around each suggested energy efficiency measure This includes some ball-park figure costs for the work to go ahead.
A Follow-up call – a 30 minute online call with the Retrofit Coordinator who visited your home  to ask questions, get clarifications and discuss specifics of their intentions.
