Solar event at WAC ARTS, BELSIZE PARK

Camden’s Solar Showcase, will take place at WAC Arts, who recently installed solar panels with support from the council’s Camden Climate Fund. The evening will include a series of short presentations, including from Camden Council’s Conservation team and the WAC Arts operations team, covering the installation process, planning considerations, recent policy changes and key considerations for installing Solar PV.

Following the presentations, there will be networking and an exhibition session, giving attendees the opportunity to meet installers and organisations who can support them with Solar PV projects.

This free online session on air source heat pumps will cover:

–  the ins and outs of installation

– how heat pumps work differently from boilers, and what increased comfort you can expect

– what restrictions there are about location.

Join us for a unique opportunity to listen and engage on how Camden is evolving its policies on retrofit and conservation.

Bethany Cullen, Camden’s Head of Development Management, and colleagues from Camden’s Sustainability and Planning teams, will share with us the new shifts in policies being applied within the Council. Bethany and colleagues will also update us on the relaunched Camden Climate Fund, and the new free advice for people seeking funding for retrofit works.
